I just
made these brownie bites for an event for which I am baking.
Well, as many have discovered, using black beans in place of flour is a clever way to
make brownies a bit healthier (and gluten free) without sacrificing a delicious chocolaty, rich - tasting dessert.
Isn't this recipe so easy and awesome!!?? I love using these ingredients to
make brownie bites, and sometimes dip them in raw almond butter!
I did use half coconut oil half butter and I feel
it made the brownies a bit to salty because I used salted butter so next time I will stick with all coconut oil.
Make the brownie bits in the food processor, using the «S» blade.
The cocoa
made the brownies a bit more «cake like» than what I prefer.

I'll eat them any which way — mashed, roasted in
bite sized chunks, cut into fries,
made into
brownies, pancakes & muffins, boiled — just anything really.
Made these today and they were very very good the texture is the best
bit and personally I would have called it fudge not
brownies but sweet potato fudge doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
Can you suggest a way to
make them drier and more crumbly so they resemble traditional
brownies a
bit more?
PS my 24 yr old and 13 yr old kids have me
making your energy
bites and sweet potato
brownies at least once a week.
Also, I find 5 or even 6 generous tablespoons of cacao powder work better than 4 as they
make the
brownies much more chocolaty and disguise the sweet potato flavour a
bit better.

I have tried to
make some of your recipes calls for food processor using my blender, they works ok, but I still have big chucks of medjoo dates in the raw
brownie, or in other energy

This is deep, dark, pure unsweetened Valrhona cocoa powder, and it
makes a chocolate
brownie so light, so fluffy and perfectly moist that after one
bite, you'd think you had died and gone to heaven.
The
brownie batter gives it tons of classic chocolate flavor (thanks to
brownie mix being added to the frosting) and the
bit of cayenne adds just a slight spicy aftertaste that really
makes it special.
I love the little
