I like the idea of chocolate in granola, maybe I can combine the recipes and
make chocolate granola bars!
Any time I've ever tried to
make a chocolate granola it's turned out pretty crappy, so I'm looking forward to trying out yours haha.

Normally, if in between meals and starving, I find that having a

makes me hungrier but these keep me going for hours.

To ensure this
granola is gloriously gluten - free, simply check the label on your oats to
make sure they're GF certified.Because they're so tender and buttery on their own, I like my pecans straight up, which is why they're not roasted along with the almonds and instead added along with the
chocolate chips.
After these photos were taken, I
made another batch of
granola using semi-sweet
chocolate chips and I liked it decidedly better (but I hope you'll forgive me... I wasn't about to take the pictures all over again!).
These
granola bars are
made with cashews, almonds, dates (Medjool), coconut flakes, vanilla, flaxseed meal,
chocolate chips, and salt.

They're not overly sweet, they are properly chewy (much in the same way as the «Legendary» Chewy

makes you feel better about eating four as a mid-afternoon
granola bar substitute.

granola — guaranteed AMAZING each time!
I get how the intent was for the

Americano turned Mediterraneo: This recipe looked so very appealing, but not being a
chocolate and peanut fan, I
made an altogether different version of this
granola which turned out fantastically.
Admittedly, this seems a little high - maintenance for breakfast — and there is some planning that goes into
making both the roasted strawberries and the
chocolate - coconut
granola — but it's almost entirely hands - off time, and can be easily (and preferably) done in advance.
I'm still working through that second batch, but I foresee myself
making this flavour over and over again because
chocolate +
granola = all my dreams come true.
