I do want to use all those perfectly fresh raw ingredients and
make my own
nut milk from pre-soaked
nuts, but sometimes (read: «too often!»)
While almond, coconut, and soy are among the most popular, there are nondairy
milks made from hemp seeds, flax seeds, oats, rice, macadamia
nuts, pecans, and cashews.
Use the pulp leftover
from homemade
nut milk to
make crackers or add it to muffins or quick bread for extra protein and fiber.
