When I
make it I
use cheesecloth and a strainer and it's messy and finicky, and I bet that a
nut milk bag would solve the problem.
When I
make nut milks, I
use the pulp (which has lots of fiber and nutrition, unlike the
milks themselves) by adding it to breads, waffles, pancakes — that sort of thing.
I don't actually
make nut milk that often but I still
use my
nut milk bag (note: it's not just you, I don't like the name either:)-RRB- frequently.
The second joy of
using any
nut milk made by Silk is that it's always loaded with nutrients, calcium and essential vitamins, meaning that combined with the pumpkin, you're doing your body a whole lot of good while enjoying a whole lot of yummy baked pumpkin mac and cheese.
I mixed everything in my Ninja food processor w / the dough paddle,
used dehydrated almond
nut pulp (left from
making almond
milk) for the flour, honey instead of agave, regular mini chocolate chips, and I also put in 2 really ripe bananas.

use an organic probiotic bill to and put it into the cashew cream /
nut cream / or
nut free hemp (any) seed cream... to to turn it into yogurt / if you can't buy real Kefir Bacteria (Lactobacilli bacteria)- Its not dairy but is
used to
make milk into Kefir and after its
used to turn
milks into yogurt, you can strain out the original chunks of bacteria (which is what we do here in Greece and then put the Kefir in the freezer so you can perpetually re-
use it — while waiting for yogurt to become cheese.
I do want to
use all those perfectly fresh raw ingredients and
make my own
nut milk from pre-soaked
nuts, but sometimes (read: «too often!»)
I
make almond
milk at home on a weekly basis
using a
nut milk bag (dirtiest kitchen gadget term ever?)
You still want to
use great tomatoes, and you can easily
make this vegan by
using coconut
milk or a thick
nut milk in place of the heavy cream called for.
Use the pulp leftover from homemade
nut milk to
make crackers or add it to muffins or quick bread for extra protein and fiber.
This granola is now my top favorite
use for the leftover
nut pulp you get after
making a fresh batch of
nut milk!

made just for this purpose, which costs around $ 8 per bag.
I also

use the pulp for a
nut «cheese».
They have far fewer chemicals, have retained all of their nutritional value and you can
use them to
make nut milks!
I would not
make the paste with coconut
milk, but
use coconut
milk to
make the turmeric drink (not the canned coconut
milk, but the pack variety similar to
nut milk like almond
milk or such things).
After
making your
nut milk, simply
use the remaining pulp to create a healthy treat.
I would
use the vitamix to
make my fully raw vegan smoothies, cakes, pies, nice creams,
nut butter, sauces, almond
milk, etc..
I'd
use it for
making smoothies, pesto, hummus, allllll the soups,

use it for just about everything from smoothies, soups (I mean it doesn't get better then butternut squash, carrot, and ginger soup), bulletproof tea,

using a 55 - year - old blender like me, a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth will allow you to separate the
nut «meats» from the «
milk.»
