consoles were six or seven at the time, the

I would have to split it into handheld and
console categories (which ends up kind of weird since so many of the
old console Zeldas have
made their way to handheld anyway).

old and new) the game will
make use of all the
console's features including buttons, tilt and touchscreen.
Coming from the talented team behind the Mortal Kombat series, NetherRealm Studios, Injustice was a mesh up of the MK franchise and DC Comics characters, that were pivotal in
making this a fighting game worth of your attention — even though it was a porting from
old gen
consoles and PC.
The platform may be a little long in the tooth, and some of the user interface technology is a little
old (like the dual displays in the center
console) but the sheer quantity of features and quality of driving experience
make that price worth it to a buyer in search of a versatile runabout.
But the cabin isn't all
old - school: The digital dashboard display is
made up of five separate screen sections, and there are also screens built into the
console and the vehicle's ceiling, the latter of which Nissan calls a «digital room mirror.»
We recently heard the Ouya will be supporting
older console emulators and is excepted to be
made available on June 4, but we have yet to hear just how powerful the Tegra 3 powered
console will be.

The only thing at this point that would
make me consider an Xbox is is they teamed with Steam or GoG and get some
old school windows pc game compatibility on a
console.
Good to see they're not giving it the best on last gen
consoles to
make everyone happy, saying that its a big let down for current
old gen owners.
Don't own an xb, but I do own a slim and some common sense in knowing that games I own outlasts the systems I own, BC also
make sense for those who are interested in trading in they're
old consoles for the newer iteration One final thing, if BC wasn't so important and not a topic worth of discussing why has this comment section blown up as much as it did?

old games which some are even better than the games they are creating this gen so why wouldn't you want to experience those games
They come out with shoddy ports of the game for the
older consoles, then I hope that the most powerful
console out has a base large enough for them to
make their money back or they're going to have a problem.

To run Assassin's Creed as smoothly and as visually appealing as it looks on the
console counterparts (Let's assume Hi - def televisions since the resolution on standard televisions are so low, even a five year
old computer monitor would
make it look better), one would need a computer built by God's father.
8800 gtx came out same time ps3 did, it STOMPS the ps3 into the dirt to this day... and its even worse for «next gen»

man, this is going to be such a long and annoying next gen of
consoles with people saying «the ps4 version looks almost as good as the pc version» when it will be an even larger mountain of difference between pc and
console last gen, at least for the first year, the
console versions of games look somewhat similar, obviously the pc versions had way better res and better anti aliasing but next gen, the ps4 and xbox1 are so far behind even a 3 year
old pc, and the new stuff coming out just utterly obliterates the xbox1 and ps4
making them 100 % obsolete and to the people who say «devs will never use it» and «all that power is wasted» talk to me when you have played a game like the witcher 2, crysis 3, or metro last light in 2560x1600 at 60 buttery frames it

By using PC parts there is little reason to not
make things compatible but with lower settings at least until there is a tech that can be
made cheap enough to warrant dropping the
older consoles which I simply don't think we have reached with the PS4 and the potential next
console.
What
makes WipEout HD a great game to play years after its initial release is the coming together of a modern
console's capabilities and the great gameplay of an
older game.

making games with the PICO - 8 fantasy
console, I recently bought an
old TV at the thrift store and hooked it up to my Raspberry Pi so I can play those games and other
old retro emulators.
This kind of comment sounds like a NOOB comment
made by someone that did not play
older console systems.
Xbox's commitment to giving their fans more features, and
making their
console the best it can be, is laudable; but it is not driving sales, and it is certainly not a factor in the age -
old battle for
console supremacy.
Also, maybe it's just me being an
old console romantic, but there's something about it which
makes it incredibly special to see a game that you've developed released and running on your home

Well you can go one further than that by adding a new skin to
make your new Xbox One

The classic series might be epic in some regards, but is mostly too rooted in
old school tradition to
make good use of the power of modern home

I own every
console super mario since 64 and I like sunshine the most (challenge + the control is awesome), then Galaxy 1 (I wasn't too used to the wii controls yet which actually
made it enjoyable and challenging to control, also the roaming / level selection screen was awesome), then Galaxy 2 (Too ezmode) And finally, n64 (Awesome, awesome game but my
old controller is killing my thumb) All of them are great games, but Galaxy 2 had the least enjoyable levels, even if the gameplay was good.
Even the
older games are being patched for the new
console to deliver truly immersive experience and
making it worth the price.
I sure don't, I'm a gamer If a 4 year
old made a
console or game and it was good i'd play it and say it's good.
Many
old school gamers regard it as one of the worst video game
consoles ever
made.
