The pay - per - page system actually
makes a lot of
sense because it provides for an objective way of assessing an e-book's value
to its
readers, and authors get payments accordingly.
But the Gawker founder remains devoted
to the idea of
reader comments, and
to the necessity of
reader interaction in general for media — both
because of the principle involved and
because he says it
makes economic
sense.
Obviously, we know our
readers are smart and will only buy items that
make sense for them, but we do include product links when appropriate (products we use or like)
because any small amount of money earned through affiliate links help
make it possible for us
to continue
to build new content on this blog and offer more value
to our
readers.
Now
because I'm a huge fan of coconut (I think this is pretty well known by my regular
readers) and coconut WITH pumpkin pie
makes sense to me, I added some shredded coconut in the mix and then topped the bars with toasted coconut!

readers because they won't be able
to make sense of the texts they are encountering.
Many of them had never learned what

to make sense of text
because they did not have support at home
to reinforce their school learning.
Nobody wants a lecture; on the other hand, if the author's concern over infodumping borders on the obsessive — as it does for many —
readers will find themselves dissatisfied, even disoriented
because they're not getting the background they needed
to make sense of the tale.
Telling a
reader she should pay more for a book simply
because she buys other products at a higher price doesn't
make economic
sense to her
because she sees a lower priced version of the higher priced product that delivers essentially the same result.
It does
make sense because I think there are regular
readers at Kindle Scout who just love
to read books!
This
makes sense because a lower price will
make it easier for potential
readers to buy your book.
It is dynamic content and it's powerful
because it elevates the author's ability
to touch a potential
reader's
senses and
make that
reader remember your book above the others on their discovery lists.
I don't normally promote or share my fiction stuff with my non-fiction audience (
because you want real
readers buying your books, not other authors), but it
makes a LOT of
sense to incentivize scifi and fantasy authors into sharing books with their audience
to win free book promotion or author services.
This might be a good opportunity
to take advantage of the Barclaycard Arrival's $ 466 in free travel for some
readers, but
because Donna has so many Ultimate Rewards points, it may
make sense for her
to use some of them
to pay for the booking as opposed
to transferring the points out
to United
to book a one - way award flight.
It would
make sense because Apple needs a way
to juice iBook sales, it has a fantastic e-textbook
reader in the iPad and
because, well, what else would you announce at a small «education» event in New York City, the center of publishing?
