But psyllium husk
powder: i'm pretty sure this is what doesn't agree with me when I buy gfree bread — it
seems to
make my stomach feel odd / tied / glued.
I have recently learned to
make a great panna cotta and I must say that this recipe
seems to use more gelatin
powder than is reasonable for a set.
Note: If your bunch of kale
seems to be extra-large, add an extra tablespoon of coconut oil and cocoa
powder to
make sure you can coat all the leaves (or do it anyway for extra chocolate kale chips!).
I
made some nut substitutions since I didn't have all the nuts on hand but I only added a 1 / 4c of arrowrroot
powder insted of the 3 / 4c called for - I did this because the other bread recipes I checked out called for the 1 / 4c too and 3/4
seemed like a lot.
Made this cake for my husband and my birthday (we are 2 days apart)... When reading directions,
seems there is not enough baking
powder in it... 1/4 tespoon only??
During my afternoon slump, where I particularly craved something sweet, I simply
made a cup of hot chocolate with my cacao
powder, hot milk or dairy substitute (I think rice milk tastes best) and little bit of sweetener and
seemed to feel satisfied.

made the cake again topped simply with a dusting of
powdered sugar, and I almost liked that better, it
seemed less of an indulgence and more of a snakie cake, simple and sweet.

made this recipe yesterday... Had trouble finding black sesame
powder so ground up some myself which
seemed to work ok... I also added a bit of lemon which I thought would work well with the matcha..
Chocolate already
seems to have an inherent coffee undertone (at least the more you go towards bittersweet and dark chocolate land) and so a shot of coffee or espresso
powder just
seems to reinforce it even more,
making it taste super rich and decadent.
While this
makes the cookies extra dense, which
seems to be on the right track, the end product doesn't take on nearly as intense a chocolate flavor as the ones
made with cocoa
powder, which is in the recipe I'm sharing today.
But anyway,
seems to be working well and after a bit of playing around I've got some additional ingredients that almost
make this poon
powder taste good!
I have always preferred chocolate desserts but this cake is as good as a chocolate one:) You can
make a lemon glaze topping though for me it
seemed sweet enough and sprinkled only some
powdered sugar on top.

made this a few times using a flax egg (1T ground flax +3 T almond milk) and 1 tsp baking
powder, but it was really fudgy and
seemed «underbaked.»

From all of the various recommendations I have seen, it
seems to me that cocoa
powder probably has enough good stuff still in it to
make eating it worth while.
I can attest to the fiber / carbs thing — I've been using psyllium husk
powder on my husband for months now, trying to get his BG numbers down, and it only
seemed to
make things worse.
It would
seem powdered beets with lemon might be a convenient solution, but remember taking a whole beet and
making it into
powder removes that healthy fiber you need.
It won't really affect the recipe itself, but these inclusions usually
seem to
make the protein
powders even more expensive!
I find it does
make a difference to drink some protein
powder in water before or during resistance exercise (energy does not drop, but
seems to increase).
Most mixed in 1 tablespoon of garlic
powder, however that did not
seem to
make much difference.
Unfortunately for me I don't
seem to tolerate bananas well and corn is by far my worst grain which
makes me a bit wary of dextrose
powder.
Seems like any «protein recipe» I
make that has coco
powder in it tastes really strange.
Love how easy these

make in a batch and have ready to warm, my typical morning dose of vegetables is blended in a drink with protein
powder, so I;d like to mix it up with a savory option!
But if the foundation
makes your face
seem pale, add a dusting of bronze
powder for a healthy color.
You can easily put on too much
powder and
make your brows look too severe, but because it's
powder it
seems easier to fix any mistakes.
I like that this is a
powder and that
seems super easy to use, BUT with the blue hue, that
makes it a little difficult to use all over.
