We should be happy about how far we have come
as a species via the hard work and dedication of man kind... we should be stopping and looking at the big picture and think about how far we have come in 2000 years... we have
made tremendous progress in so many ways and it is really sad that instead of doing the
right thing and giving mankind credit where credit is due, you fall back on 2000 year old beliefs and you thank a god who has never been proven to exist.
@fimilleur from time to time mankind experiences the presence of God, there have been and continue to be events that testify to the presence of Him.The multiple gods you continually point to have an unique difference from the God who first revealed His presence to ancient men i.e. the Hebrews. The particular gods you mention roman etc. are all man
made and in many instances men themselves i.e. hercules, but even the ancient greeks realized the limitations of their understanding and included an «unknown» God in their worship structure.many cultures did likewise, having a glimpse of God but not the fullness of understanding that was given to the Jews.Whether or not «we» believe, does not alter the fact that God exists
as an unique being, whether or not «we» acknowledge Him «we» will stand before Him.You do not choose to understand, but we are actually standing in His presence
right now
as He is much bigger than the doctrines and knowledge man ascribes to Him those
things you find so questionable are the misconceptions and misrepresentations of God
made by men throughout history.
@fimeilleur actually i can back up the claims i
make both personally and historically, one example Abraham, Machpelah (actual location of his tomb and remains along with 5 others in Israel
right where they are supposed to be) Kedorlaomer king of Elam, (defeated by Abraham and recently discovered) it is said Abraham believed God and it was credited to him
as righteousness.More than that Abraham saw God and spoke with Him, not the god you are on about that men use to justify their evil intent, but the God who has created all
things, the God that no one especially you can not contain.Ignorance is your choice but that will not negate the existence of God in any way.No one that i am aware of has all the answers at this point regarding spiritual
things, evolution or evilution there are areas God has not yet revealed to mankind but every day more is discovered.I find it amazing that God is big enough to share discovery even with those who would reject Him.
But now those are already there at yours maybe if you prepare them
right as to education and training for finally deputing them to return to their own countries with the needful backup and authority they will be useful tools for the advancement and prosperity of their nations then you will have no one wanting to immigrate leaving behind their own families and friends... in addition to that you will see those who immigrated towards your country start moving back to their own countries and this is the only solution to resolve the issue of illegal immigration and to find peace... otherwise if
things go on
as it is today surely slowly slowly you will find that your own countries become inherited by piling up immigrants who might get starved due negligence turn on against the Host country... that has contributed in the destructions of their countries but not towards and advancements or developments of their countries and nations to find peace and
make a living..!?

things the government now needed to do, it was the married family which most urgently needed to be rebuilt: I was and remain
as certain of that
as anything I have ever written, and I have been saying it repeatedly for over 20 years: I was saying it, for instance, when I was attacking (in The Mail and also The Telegraph),
as it went through the Commons, the parliamentary bill which became that disastrous piece of (Tory) legislation called the Children Act 1989, which abolished parental
rights (substituting for them the much weaker «parental responsibility»), which encouraged parents not to spend too much time with their children, which even, preposterously, gave children the
right to take legal action against theirparents for attempting to discipline them, which
made it «unlawful for a parent or carer to smack their child, except where this amounts to «reasonable punishment»;» and which specified that «Whether a «smack» amounts to reasonable punishment will depend on the circumstances of each case taking into consideration factors like the age of the child and the nature of the smack.»

This is going to be a shock — the men who actually wrote all the parts in the Bible and
made changes to the infrastructure of Christianity — including Constantine circa 300 AD in Rome — were not afraid of unleashing the occasional metaphor... in other words the Bible is not entirely literal — no, you are supposed to use your imagination... In many cases the disciples didn't actually witness an event — it was long distance and time altered hearsay — God figured Man could handle that... So don't be afraid to dilute - God's cool with that —

O when one beholds a man who protests that he has entirely understood how Christ went about in the form of a lowly servant, poor, despised, and,
as the Scripture says, spat upon — when I see the same man so careful to betake himself thither where in a worldly sense it is good to be, and accommodate himself there in the utmost security, when I see him apprehensive of every puff of wind from
right or left,
as though his life depended upon it, and so blissful, so utterly blissful, so awfully glad — yes, to
make the
thing complete, so awfully glad that he is able to thank God for it — glad that he is held in honor by all men — then I have often said to myself and by myself, «Socrates, Socrates, Socrates, can it be possible that this man has understood what he says he has understood?»

lol, yes clay i am an atheist... i created the sun whorshipping
thing to have argument against religion from a religious stand point... however, the sun
makes more sense then something you can't see or feel — the sun also gives free energy... your god once did that for the jews, my gives it to the human race
as well
as everything else on the planet, fuk even the planet is nothing without the sun... but back to your point — yes it is very hypocritical of me, AND thats the point, every religious person i have ever met has and on a constant basis broken the tenets of there faith without regard for there souls — it seems to only be the person's conscience that dictates what is
right and wrong... the belief in a god figure is just because its tradition to and plus every else believes so its always to be part of the group instead of an outsider — that is sadly human nature to be part of the group.
You have to

But the feeling is not only that, God
made the women body to adapt to the men body, like a puzzle, if you force a piece to enter it will distort the image
right it is the same
things for your body, sex does not only mean baby, but it is only when you join with a compatible body that it is not a sin, God is the best doctor because he
made your body, only he know the result in your body and he is also your Father, who's father do not want this child healthy or happy, or better the night thinks even if it is not your fault «why does my child
as to suffer all this, and walk in the difficult road».
Gil you have asked some very good questions why does bad
things happen in the world i personally do nt know God did nt explain to Job either why he had to suffer. What i do know is that God desires that none of us should perish but that all would have eternal life in him through Jesus Christ. This world will one day pass away and the real world will be reborn so our focus
as christians is on whats to come and being a witness in the here and now. Both good and bad happens to either the righteous or the sinner so what are we to
make of that. What we do know is that God will set all
things right at the appointed time the wicked will be judged and the righteous will be rewarded for there faith isnt that enough reason for us to believe.Free will is only a reality if we can choose between good and bad but our hearts are deceitfully wicked we naturally are inclined toward sin that is another reason whyt we need to be saved from ourselves so what are we to do.For me Christ died and rose again that is a fact witnessed by over 500 people that were alive at the time and was recorded by historians how many other religious leaders do you know that did that or did the miracles that Jesus did.
As far
as the bible is concerned much of the archelogical evidence has proven to be correct and many of prophetic words spoken many hundreds of years ago have come to pass including both the birth and the death of Jesus.Interested in what philosophy you are believing in if other than a faith in Jesus Christ so how does that philosophy give you the assurance that you are saved. Its really simple with christianity we just have to believe in Jesus Christ.brentnz
In all honesty, the «religious people» that don't legislate against
things based solely on their religious convictions and thereby hurt the
rights of individuals, and who don't condemn science and medicine and societal progression and other religions and other denominations and people who are not religious, and who don't claim to know that something is true beyond all other truths, are probably a very slim minority, and I'd have to argue that they aren't really religious, they are just doing whatever
makes them feel good, which could be accomplished through secular means
as well.
Some
things I have always done
as though I were
right - handed, without giving them another thought (swinging anything two - handed, like a bat or an axe); other

as I write).

thing else...!
