While I've been a huge fan of their hummus for years, I hadn't realized that they also
make veggie dips, salsa, guacamole and other tasty spreads and salads like bruschetta topping (my fiance's absolute favorite).
My mom
made this veggie dip for one of the parties earlier this year and I totally gobbled it up.
I love
making veggie dips with Greek yogurt.

make some type of guacamole, or avocado
dip almost weekly and we enjoy it spooned on top of scrambled eggs, as a spread on a
veggie burger or wrap, or simply as a snack served with whole grain chips.
This recipe from our spring vegetable correspondent is super versatile — you can use it as a pasta sauce or
veggie dip — and it can be
made in minutes.
Keep cut up veggies in single - serve zip - top baggies for on - the - go grabbing — I also love to
make mini
veggie dip cups to serve the kids after school (great for a party too).
A nicely arranged raw
veggie platter with an enticing
dip, and baked sweet potatoes might
make a nice way to round out a meal of mini-pizzas for finicky eaters.
I am sure some more liquid could be added to the mixture such as water to
make it creamy and this would
make it a great

I would use earth balance's vegan mayo to

making the cake, but I will be
making some great snacks (

Personally, I use chickpea flour mostly for
making pakoras,
veggie fritters that are
dipped in a batter and deep - fried.
Salsa and chips, assorted pickles, or
veggie sticks and slices with
dip make a lunch box bonus sure to please most kids.
I
made a homemade
veggie dip / soup mix for my SIL to take camping.
~ sandwich ~ crackers of various kinds ~ cheeses of various kinds ~ whole fruit ~ some type of
veggie which he may or may not pack some sort of
dip like hummus ~ possibly a hard boiled egg or some deviled eggs if I
made any over the weekend ~ some sort of dessert of something I have baked ~ juice or a V8 thingy
But fruit purees are delicious when added to a smoothie, while the
veggie ones
make for a great
dip if you're noshing on pretzels or crackers.
I do have a question about the boxes, though — does the sectioned lid fit well enough that something runny — juice from the fruit, applesauce, yogurt, or a
veggie dip — would not ooze into the larger container and
make a sandwich soggy?
And if you're ever in the mood for a little decadence, you should try my evil twin's creamy Caesar dressing... that would
make for a pretty wicked
veggie dip also!

dip too, and I love it on top of some bread or with some
veggie sticks.

made the most delicious eggplant
dip known as Baba ghanoush.
