All of the lessons I learned during my first pregnancy have come flooding back; from the way I do my
eye -
make up to cover the red speckles around my
eyes (popped
blood vessels from the pressure of throwing up) to the way every decision
in my day has to be filtered through controlling my nausea.
Fatigue and chronic lack of rest and sleep, age, damaged capillaries (smallest
blood vessels around the
eyes), periorbital hyperpigmentation (increased melanin production beneath the
eyes making the skin to appear darker), seasonal allergies, eczema, frequent use of stimulants such as caffeine, smoking, drugs and alcohol, poor skin elasticity and health, lack of antioxidants, diet high
in sugar and other refined products, age, thinner skin beneath the
eyes, etc..
