Many Obama supporters thought he would de-emphasize test scores, but instead his administration
made them even more important for «accountability» purposes, and teachers found themselves in the crosshairs
of unreasonable
evaluation systems, sometimes being assessed by the scores
of students they didn't have and / or subjects they didn't teach.
