Is there a reason that you are melting the chocolate and butter directly in the pan instead of in a double boiler or
makeshift double boiler?
I melted them together, in
a makeshift double boiler.
Of course, I did use
a makeshift double boiler here to melt the chocolate, but that's quick and easy.
This creates
a makeshift double boiler and prevents the oils from overheating.
In a double boiler (or
a makeshift double boiler) melt the coconut oil and shea butter together until they are fully mixed.
Melt the milk chocolate pieces in a double boiler (for
a makeshift double boiler, you can place a heat - safe bowl over a saucepan with some boiling water in it).
