While not being an MMO, the Dark Souls series and its spiritual follow - up Bloodborne all come with the opportunity of both playing with and against other people, but also leaving notes and
making a mark on the game world.

Enter PolyKnight Games — a very small independent studio that was founded in 2014 — and their open -
world exploration flying
game, Innerspace (Not to be confused with the totally rad 1987 Martin Short / Dennis Quaid movie of the same name), as they attempt to
make their
mark on the exploration - puzzler genre.
The developers have also put the
game up
on Steam Greenlight, so if enjoy the
game, be sure to vote so it can
make it's
mark on the largest digital
game store in the
world.
