Between October 2011 and March 2012, each institution made its own contribution to this grand - scale story of artistic innovation and social change, told through the multitude of simultaneous exhibitions and programs on post-World War II art in Los Angeles.

Jackson Pollock: Blind Spots is a sensational exhibition — grand, exhilarating and so unexpected as to make the painter's career look altogether different.

Dodge's work is in collections including Museum of Modern Art (NY), Museum of Contemporary Art (LA), Hammer Museum (LA).

Paintings on paper, drawings and one grand - scale painting make up this exhibition which examines the authority of traditional painting motifs through the artist's playful interpretation of landscape and portraiture.

Virginia Martinsen made a grand comeback to New York's art scene last Thursday with the opening of her solo show Exhibition Space at Chelsea's Mike Weiss Gallery.

For his first solo exhibition at (re) D., van Hove will showcase several recent works as well as the first prototype of his acclaimed Mahjouba Initative, which aims at conceiving an electric moped made by craftsmen for the local market on a grand scale.

Bethnal Green's French Riviera is presenting an informal group exhibition about making things, Grand Magasin, developed in conversation between the London gallery and artist / curator Nat Breitenstein, opening November 30 and running till December 15.
