I started
making turmeric tea last winter and it was so comforting.
This is a super easy recipe for
making turmeric tea (Golden Milk) that is a powerful anti-inflammation drink!
I started
making this turmeric tea for its beneficial properties, and now it is one of my favorite daily rituals - made from a honey turmeric paste with lots of lemon juice and freshly ground black pepper.
I used to
make turmeric tea «golden milk» by boiling turmeric in a little water, then adding milk (or almond milk), honey and a little sesame or almond oil drizzled on top.
There are several variations as to how to
make turmeric tea (given below), but here are the components you need to get the full benefits of turmeric: heat, the turmeric itself, some kind of fat for absorption, and a little black pepper to activate the turmeric.

Lately, a couple of my colleagues have been raving about a great caffeine - free
turmeric tea they've been
making at home.

turmeric one 3 in long root a day, flax seed, freshly ground 2 tablespoons a day and whole oats / oat bran (2 T - spoons each) to reduce gut inflammation; in addition, from a herbology perspective this is what I am using, with good results: an equal part combination of yarrow, chamomile, mint, motherwort, lemon balm, St John's - wort; you can buy them on line, as 1/2 lbs packages, mix them all up good, and
make a
tea (boil for 10 - 15 min a quart of water and 4 T - spoons of mix); keep the mix in a sealed jar; this may benefit multiple digestive disorders such as IBS, colitis and Chron's.

tea but I was also found to be sensitive to black pepper and cinnamon is there anything else I can use instead to help w the absorbsion or should I just
