I think it gives the blog a nice and well - rounded feel, and since
the mamas have kids of different ages, you'll find advice not only for babies, but older kids too.

As a
mama of seven — a lose - library - books, holes - in - the - toes -
of - socks gaggle
of kids — I
have sought many a time to be better at motherhood.
They
would amble by,
mama and her kits (baby skunks are kits, as baby goats are
kids), with nary a hint
of animosity and rarely a spark
of curiosity.
As a
mama of two it is a mission I am passionate about so I jumped at the chance to create some recipes that I knew my
kids loved and other families could
would be excited about making.
I was either in denial or I believed a culmination
of big - sister training I
had obtained, or maybe hubby and me chaperoning high - risk
kids on dance nights (and yes I was the
mama to tell them if they were dancing too close)-- but we thought nothing
of it.

of characters as the
kids grow and things change - in the sixteen years
of being a
Mama now.
Having both
of my
kids out
of the house 2 full school days per week is amazing for getting me back to who I know I am deep down underneath the layers
of «
mama», which is all I
have known for the past 5 + years.
The ambiance was classy yet not too quiet (ask any
mama and she will confess to wanting some noise so that it drowns out her
kid's noise) and we
had a brilliant view
of the water.
We
've since owned almost every kind
of pet imaginable, including exotic reptiles, fish, turtles, birds, various rodents, laying hens, ducks, dog, cat, caged birds, etc. and found them to be a great learning experience for the
kids — but yes, sometimes it's a bit much for
mama when littles are around.

of potty training my youngest and getting my oldest ready for his HS graduation I know CRAZY moments happening in here (w / 2 more in between too) for me what
has been working for our Isy is being her ULT cheer squad she LOOOVESS it even when she jumps up from her crib at 5:30 in the AM and is screaming
MAMA Peeeeee PEEEEEEE PEEEEE (she
has a pull up on but she's doing SO awesome at it) I get her to her potty and cheer her half asleep and we sing the song we made up just for her lol... I also learned with all my
kids do NOT push them.
Jamie, the owner,
has four
kids of her own so she knows what a
mama needs!
After all, at least two
of my
kids have ADHD — they're just like their
mama.
A lot
of us cloth diapering
mamas find it to be less work to change, wash, and put away cloth diapers than it
would be to venture out to Target with
kids in tow, buy the diapers and Diaper Genie inserts, get them home, and haul the dirties out to the trash.
So for all
of you
mamas insisting your immaculate house is messy, and all
of you normal
mamas therefore afraid to
have anyone come into your house ever because that level
of clean is just not achievable due to
kids / time / dogs / life / constant art projects, let's set some guidelines.

It's very hard sometimes to work in this category and see the gorgeous
mamas of Instagram who always look good even when they're bumming around,
have their
kids dressed so stylishly and just generally seem like they
have it all together.
I think you're on the right track,
mama, although I
have to agree with 3galsmama: unless it's painless for you, telling your
kids it's only intense feels like a white lie kind
of deal.
As
kids head back to school, or to preschool for the first time, we

of some super bond between moms and their
kids surely makes sense to moms who haven't experienced postpartum depression or other complicating factors following the birth or adoption

There are some new
mamas out there that I follow that either include their babies in the shots as a mother and daughter / son type
of photo shoot, or there are the
mamas that
have their babies and
kids off to the side entertaining themselves or napping while the tripod and clicker are set up and at it or the hubby is taking the shots.
For your adventure loving
mama who hasn't clamped down her wanderlust just because
of a couple
of kid saddle bags.

That reminds me
of my own childhood (and the first time I
had chocolate cake at a neighbor's)... and also what it is like to be a
mama and watch our
kids experience life.
It was the Victoria Day long weekend here in Toronto and although I
had plans a flu bug I caught from my kiddos
had me out since Thursday: (I'm one
of those
mamas who always seems to catch the
kids bugs at the worst time... well I'm sure that's pretty much the life story
of all mom's with smaller children.
I realized I
've never made these for my
kids — what kind
of mama am I?!
Your plain old checking account that you, your
kids, and your grand
mama have... Down side, invoices
would have to say pay to the order
of my wife... and that looks less professional - but it's legal.
A good way to think about it is how a
kid will wriggle out
of his mother's grasp as she tries to kiss and hug him — not because he doesn't love his
mama, but because he
'd had enough mushy stuff for the time being.
Mama got along with all
of our other dogs, loved the
kids in the family,
had quickly learned the house rules, and just seemed to fill a hole in our family that we didn't even know we
had.

As a
mama of kids long grown and far away, I see so many
kids these days,
of all ages, that
have not been taught how to behave in public, and I believe it is never too soon to teach manners and respect.?
This is a homeschooling family so the addition
of workspace was a MUST and
having two desks means an easier school day for
kids and
mama both.
