I already make an awesome
mango pineapple smoothy so I am sure this has to better than the blueberry pond sludge.

smoothie so it looks like you might have converted me!
i used a banana for some substance and the beautiful creamy consistency it provides and i didn't find it's flavor to be strong or even that noticeable in this
smoothie, but if you reeeeally hate bananas, use frozen
mango or
pineapple instead.
