I'm sorry, my fellow
JRPG fans — I wouldn't risk this one.
It was a departure from Squaresoft's standard line up of
JRPGs.
Shooter, rpgs,
jrpgs, mobas, stratagy, horror and so forth.
I play anything from
jrpgs to fpp games.
Let's play a RTS or a good
jrpg:D Gaming wise, i enjoy most genres, personality wise, I'm chill with a good sense of humor:)
My favorite genre is
the JRPG and favorite game is Persona 4.

I'm an American - born Chilean who likes watching anime, talking about WWE, and playing videogames (mostly rhythm and
JRPGs).
Monolith Soft shows the western market that
JRPGs are far from extinct.
We particularly recommend it to all of
JRPG players in general, especially to fans of Persona and the Shin Megami Tensei series.
In a year full of
JRPGs, God Wars still manages to be a standout.
This, plus Akiba's Beat and Caligula Effect are the most underwhelming
JRPGs we got this year (even the SAO game released last month is far better than this, and that's just sad).
Tales of Graces F is a good game and though the story may seem like a typical
JRPG, it does stray away from the stereotypes as the story progresses, and leaves you wanting to know what will happen next.
As of today, it's still one of the best
JRPGs around.
With the addition of city building and strategy battle elements, Ni No Kuni 2 is a deeper and more varied experience than most
JRPGs out there, and certainly among the most beautiful and artful games that you'll ever see.
The fan of One Piece series has an obligacióin to this second chapter, but the player simply fond of Action
JRPG does not.
Without any doubt, Persona 5 is one of the greatest
JRPGs of this generation.
The game is really good old style
JRPG.
Mugen Souls offers the typical
JRPG look with matching music.
I Am Setsuna is a nostalgic
JRPG: it takes Chrono Trigger's gameplay and puts it into a fascinating setting.
Tales of Xillia is
a JRPG with personality, capable, even two years after the Japanese release, to appear original and engaging where it matters most.
Tales Of Graces f is
a JRPG that feels the weight of time but proposes an interesting gameplay structure, fresh and able to satisfy long time fans of the genre.
Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is a triumph that successfully blends
JRPG with components of kingdom building, third person action, and real - time strategy.
It's a very well - crafted more of the same, that once more finds great ways to modernize
the JRPG formula.
Critics and users alike praised the game as one of the best
JRPGs of all time.
Even though it's not the best
JRPG out there in the vast 3DS library, The Alliance Alive comes in the twilight of the portable system, and it offers 40 - plus solid hours of adventuring for the ones who were left wanting more from The Legend of Legacy.
Apart from small minor issues, the game itself is
a JRPG masterpiece: The graphics and music compliment the style of the game beautifully, the story is the best in the series, the locations and palaces you visit are astounding and the battle system has been revitalized and feels fresh and new.
The Alliance Alive is a must - play for fans of
JRPGs, and we would give it a strong recommendation to anyone looking for another great game to add to their 3DS collection.
It's
a JRPG that struggles to add anything of value, perhaps to the point of reminding us why the natural evolution of the genre happened in the first place.
Its premise of losing one's memory and the relation that has between past and present occurrences could have been an interesting twist on RPG mechanics to uncover, but it ends up being little more than a stale alternative to what is a rather unaltered series of common
JRPG affairs.
Lost Sphear is a nice little
JRPG, but with all the hype that surrounded it, I believe that nice is just not enough.
If you're on the look out for a slightly different
JRPG experience, a challenge or an entry point to games like Etrian Odyssey and Shin Megami Tensei, then Persona Q is a great choice.
Pleasantly surprised by this game, I was expecting to go in to what I thought I would be a very middling experience but I came out playing what, in my opinion, was probably the most addicting
JRPG I've played in a few years.
Hell, it well may be the best
JRPG of the last decade.
Tales of Berseria is a solid
JRPG that doesn't excel in any one area but manages to hit all the marks well enough to be enjoyable.
Final Fantasy X is a true masterpiece and one of the best
JRPGs of all time.
The story and characters take a risky turn from the norm of the Tales series and features a cold but understandable anti-heroine bent on revenge which as
a JRPG gamer barely see in games nowadays.
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is a great
JRPG with a nice plot, an enjoyable, old school turn - based battle system, beautiful art direction and a design that grants you the opportunity to catch many Digimons.
It's a nice, classic
JRPG, with more dynamic combat mechanics and things to do, however it abuses cliches of the genre, and its visuals and sound effects aren't really from this generation.
It's easily the first must - have
JRPG of 2017.
Tales studio delivers another great
JRPG - albeit not as great as Vesperia - with a strong narrative and a superb battle system.
Wanderjahr TryAgainOrWalkAway is based on
the JRPG style and adds a large combat component to it, bringing along a strategic component, a fun and simple adventure and a commendable soundtrack.
