Crapware (aka bloatware) is kept to a minimum, and the Velocity Micro didn't bundle the system with a lot of the upgrade offers that seem to pervade machines from big - box retail competitors like HP, Gateway, and eMachines.

This doesn't solve the issue of applications that you do want to install having bundled
crapware that requires opting out by default.
The Windows ecosystem is a cavalcade of
crapware.
The operator - specific
crapware includes AT&T Code scanner, AT&T FamilyMap, AT&T Navigator (why?)
Surely that will be free from any bundled
crapware, right?
If you made the mistake of installing KMPlayer, and you manage to ignore all of the other
crapware, you'll be presented with this window.
Unfortunately, many
crapware applications install Windows Services during their installation process, and use them to keep their nonsense running in the background and re-launching repeatedly.
The freeware authors are bundling
crapware, and then lousy download sources are bundling even more on top of it.
