I know that he has hardly had a chance but I have a sneaking suspicion that he is not the quality or
the type of striker that we need.
Unfortunately, the Thierry Henry
type of striker doesn't exist in abundance the way we think, and if a club is lucky, they will get just one player like that but not up to three.
Giroud is a modern day Alan Smith
type of striker?
Lacazette is a different
type of striker to Lukaku.
Ozil definitely needs a different
type of striker than Giroud in front of him, that is for sure.
I agree Ozil has been less than scintillating in his brief tenure @ the Emirates but give the man a Cavani, Benzema, Lewandowski
type of striker in front of him and the German will once again shine.
This is
the type of striker we should be going for!
Wenger never gives
these types of strikers a chance unless they adapt to his style.
Son is a different
type of striker so they may be forced to alter the formation.
Then OG puts it away on a header (created something out of nothing
type of striker?)
They have acknowledged his seeming inability to adapt to the fast - paced tactics of Manuel Pellegrini, yet Bony himself made it fairly obvious back in January 2014 what
type of striker he is.
While he has certainly made an important contribution since his arrival in north London, there have always been question marks over whether or not he's
the type of striker to lead Arsenal to a Premier League title and other major honours.
I have always liked Chicarito who I feel is a different
type of striker to what we currently have.
the fast pacey striker that can chase after the balls from Ozil & Carzorla etc... Giroud is one
type of striker we need the Theo kind too.
Wenger likes certain
types of strikers and the only time i recall him getting a player who is all about finishing is Jeffers, we know how that turned out... there was Suker & Eduardo too but they had something more also a high class of finishing ability especially Suker.
We need to understand that for our system to work we need a van persie kind of striker - a person who is as adept at scoring goals as in assisting, or may be I should say Sanchez
type of striker.
Giroud has moments of brilliance but he is not a game changer
type of striker.
I really hope he targets the right sort of CB, and the right
type of striker.
Sure, we do need
that type of striker.
I just don't think he will ever be more than a hot and cold
type of striker.
But not a full fledge striker as we all think but
the type of the striker giving the pass and receiveing it immediatelly once behind the lines.
Perez is not the marquee striker but a different
type of striker to Giroud.
Milik is a focal point
type of striker (he doesn't remind me of Lewandowski).
What we need is a Suarez or Aguero
type of striker, someone with pace, finishing, strength, never say die attitude and winning mentality
We do need a different
type of striker, with pace and dribbling skill, who can get in behind opponent defence, and more clinical in front of goal.
He is a target man
type of striker and has done a great job as such even if some of you won't admit it.
But every squad also needs a top - drawer
type of striker.
Giroud is not the answer, Barca have short forwards (MSN) and I never heard them needing a Giroud
type of striker..
That is simply not
the type of striker he is.
It's because we don't rely on Costa
type of strikers.
Week in week out, a 30 + goal a season
type of striker.
@Gotanidea Seeing
the type of strikers we have, and the type of defenders we have.
When I'm watching Porto I always think that Martinez is
the type of striker that loves to wander around and be in the right place in certain areas.
Thats why i think we need a different
type of striker in our squad who has that kind of quality.
welbeck is
the type of striker we need with pace, strength & workaholic just like our legend Henry, with our potent midfielders he will score goals and not lose possession every bit like giro.coyg
The team was built in a way that we were waiting for a certain
type of striker and I think now everybody knows that Chelsea did the right thing in waiting for him and not going into the market in the summer of 2013 or January.»
Have you noticed??? Wenger loves the old - schOol
type of strikers: talk, sluggish, quite lanky and slow, but good with the phenomenal «hold - up play».
They are different
type of strikers.
Giroud also showed why the alternative
type of striker is needed.
His pace, aggression and persistence provide us with a different
type of striker to what we have now and I would welcome that.
Giroud is the Old fashion British Center forward
type of striker who plays with his back to goal.
It's
the type of striker Arsenal are used to playing with, and the type of player Ozil is most effective with.
Giroud, well we all sort of new his form would come to an end not just because everybodys eventually does but because Giroud isnt
the type of striker that can do just as well no matter what tactics we face.
Better than having same
type of strikers and they seem to not understand what offiside is.
My point is that we need a striker that is not running all over the filed like a Midfielder and rested enough to sprint from Mid field to goal, point granted that Suarez is
that type of striker reason why he killed the league
People blame the manager saying we need and Aguero
type of striker.
I am just hoping chelsea lead will be in single digits by january, the team is really getting difficult to pick upfront, just wish we had that liberty defensively, but i am rather confident in the strike force used in the last match, which offered 3
types of strikers.
Think dzeko would be perfect for us and a steal if the 15 mill askin price that's going around is true, with theo Olivier and dzeko we'd have 3 different
types of strikers for every occasion!
All the while we have still not added a more prolific or different
type of striker to our sqaud several seasons on.
we just need to sort out the RW and maybe
another type of striker.
