So you can imagine my excitement when About Time sent me some lovely samples of their chocolate and vanilla

So when I got a delightful package from my friends over at MCT Lean consisting of two big tubs of
vegan protein powder, I was a little hesitant.
What are the benefits of using a natural or
vegan protein powder vs a standardst whey protein powder?
I also used a natural, unflavored
vegan protein powder so I used closer to a half cup of milk.
Vegan protein powder fits in better with my plant based diet.
That being said, you'll find that the majority of
vegan protein powders have «natural flavors» listed in the ingredients.
It is sweet and a touch gritty, however I've had
vegan protein powders before and the texture is very gritty.
I love this protein powder, I have tried many
vegan protein powders and they either taste awful, they don't mix well (it is important to mix this powder with your liquids BEFORE you add the dry stuff or it will get clumpy) or have sunflower lectin, soy or gluten after I found out that I am allergic to dairy, soy, gluten, sunflower seeds, green beans, yeast and basically everything good and this is by far and wide the best.
To make these vegan, sub out the whey protein for
a vegan protein powder or simply add extra oat flour in place of it.
These bars can easily be made vegan by swapping out the protein powder for
a vegan protein powder for more oat flour.
Verdict: The cost is comparable to other
vegan protein powders, and the protein - to - sugar ratio makes this a must - try for any vegan athlete.

vegan protein powders and then realized that peanut flour is actually nutritionally the same - so i use that in smoothies now.

Things get busy and complicated and sometimes, especially when you're in a hurry, having a simple meal like
