My first baby was born at home with
a wonderful midwife and I'm planning a second homebirth for this upcoming March.

That IS the problem — knowing whether yours will be one of them, and how well even the most
wonderful, well trained
midwife will do if it goes pear - shaped, and you need resources a
midwife simply doesn't have.

I had a
WONDERFUL experience with a
midwife - assisted hospital birth with my first child (who was ROP), and God willing (we have struggled with fertility issues for years) we will have a second, and THIS....
I had a

midwife assisted homebirth.
Campbell had a
wonderful experience with her obstetrician and didn't feel she required the level of post-natal care
midwives offer.
It was a
wonderful home birth and my
midwives actually told us she should sleep on me, but we didn't understand cosleeping yet and didn't do it.
