The end result is a savory, sweet,
almost mapley Brussels sprout with a subtle but respectable hint of heat.
I also used maple - flavored, natural, gluten - free table syrup to add a nice
warm mapley flavor.
So the last few days, I've been somewhat obsessed
with mapley things (if you couldn't tell.)
The nose gave me hope though; a kick of citrus cuts through
the mapley, nearly - port sweetness that comes standard with orange wines.
