From a legal standpoint, I'm a little uneasy with the government defining what I believe in anyway, even if I happen to agree with
marriage in a church environment.

church's responsibility to love, accept, and affirm gay men and women and thereby create a positive
environment where their sexuality can be expressed
in healthy, monogamous, loving relationships (i.e.
marriage or civil partnership).
As soon as your daughter's belief
in fairies and leprechauns starts becoming a threat to women's reproductive rights, people's
marriage rights, separation of
church and state, and even the
environment we live
in, then we'll start caring about her idiotic beliefs as well.
