Unfortunately, his love of
martial arts movies gets him into trouble with neighborhood bully Lupo [Morgan Benoit] and after being coerced into helping the thug rob the pawnshop — and getting Old Hop shot — he grabs a golden staff and flees, with Lupo close behind.

movies throughout the year that don't involve

Bloodsport, a
martial arts movie dubiously based on a «true story,» kicked off Jean - Claude Van Damme's damn awesome
movie career, leading to many more films where the Muscles from Brussels would smile, strut, and splits his way through
martial arts tournaments and always
get the girl.
As Run The Jewels pulses on the soundtrack, we also
get new shots of the
movie's cast — not just title character Chadwick Boseman, but also his friends and enemies — in action, facing off with swords, guns, and good - old mystically powered
martial arts.
However, the action is best served when
martial arts is employed, which is fairly often, meaning that Snake Eyes (Park, X-Men), Storm Shadow, and new
movie character, Jinx (Yung, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo),
get plenty of screen time.
It really does have the
martial arts shenanigans of The Matrix (yep, right down to pseudo-bullet time, but not used in a way that might make you sick of it), it's
got the «loser team makes good» sports
movie (I picked Major League because it's fun, that's all), and it's
got the ADD - inflicted editing, pace, and sometimes even visual style of Moulin Rouge.
Get ready for hard - hitting action with one of the biggest
martial arts stars of all time, Jean - Claude Van Damme, in the Van Damme 5 -
Movie Action Pack.
I
got to briefly try out the Windwalking movement feature and some of the signature combat combos that call to mind the best classic
martial arts movies, and I was very impressed with what I saw.
