meal per day approach simply changes up your meal frequency but you still get the same amount of calories every day.
If you want to follow the one
meal per day approach one day and do 2 - 3 meals per day the next, that's totally fine.
What the participants did report, however, was a significant increase in hunger and desire to eat over time, meaning they did not get used to the one
meal per day approach.
