than it was, so it was a nice surprise after a big
meal that we could actually eat a whole slice of

If your baby is able to eat their
meal as whole food well — for my baby this is around 10 months — but your's may be able to do this younger, then make the fish
cakes rather
than puree.
I'm not going to say this is better
than chocolate zucchini
cake, because I'm not sure anything is, but I AM going to say I would like to have this crust every day, at every
meal, and just fill it with different things.
I think you could use almond
meal as well but you might get a slightly less light
cake than with almond flour.
There's nothing better
than when you go out for dinner and order a nice, big piece of chocolate
cake to end the
meal.
It is slightly heavier with the almonds - though not in a bad way - so if you want a lighter crumb, rather
than a squidgy interior, and are not making the
cake for the gluten - intolerant, then replace the 1 1/2 cups almond
meal with 3/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon of all - purpose flour.
As my parent's friends inhaled the corn
cakes even faster
than my roommate's boyfriend did the week before, I realized that
meals for those beyond quarter - life don't have to be fancy in the traditional sense.
