In agreement with this speculation are climate projections suggesting increased flood magnitude in the future across the Southwest, despite reduced
mean precipitation amounts [4].

The records showed that
precipitation and temperature patterns had hardly fluctuated during the period,
meaning that the
amount of water flowing into the lake from nearby streams is likely the same today as it was in 1847.
By

mean all characteristics: frequency, intensity, duration,
amount, type (snow vs rain etc) at hourly resolution.
Campbell River also ranked poorly on our list for both its high number of wet days and overall
amount of
precipitation, although its fair temperatures
meant it had few days below zero.
Homogenised monthly
mean temperature series (1780 - 2013) with UHI (Urban Heat Island), elevation and observation hours correction; and homogenised monthly
precipitation amount series (1841 - 2013).
Figure 3 shows Sahel

amounts relative to the 1901 - 2000 observed
mean.
The E-OBS holds gridded data for daily values of the
precipitation amount, the daily

These twelve - month running -
mean time series of
precipitation amounts averaged over continental land areas and the European sub-regions include values from JRA - 55 and values available to date from ERA5, the reanalysis currently in production to supersede ERA - Interim.
For instance,
mean variance of MCA winter
precipitation amounts was more variable than those of the LIA for ensemble members 3 and 5 (p < 0.05).
A number of the comments here focus on the
amount of annual
precipitation as of an increase in
mean precipitation means more water will be available to meet human needs.
At climateological time scales, the
amount of readily available surface water is basically
mean annual
precipitation minus
mean annual evaporation / transpiration.
According to data from the Salekhard weather station the recent
mean air summer temperature was 0.9 °C higher and winter was 1.2 °C higher than between 1883 and 1919; and the
amount of
precipitation also increased by 32 mm in summer and by 46 mm in winter.
Site environmental variables in 2007 — 13: daily

This
means that
precipitation effects are dependent on
precipitation frequency as well as annual
amount.
PRUDENCE RCM outputs showed non-linear relationships between
mean maximum temperature and indices of drought and heatwave (Good et al., 2006), while changes in maximum 1 - day and 5 - day
precipitation amounts were systematically enhanced relative to changes in seasonal
mean precipitation across many regions of Europe (Beniston et al., 2007).
