Atheists: I know many there are many people that practice religion just by fanaticism, I've
seen many people in my opinion stupid (excuse the word) praying to saints hopping to solve their problems by repeating pre-made sentences over and over, but there are others different, I don't think Religion and Science need to be opposites, I believe in God, I'm Catholic and I have many reasons to believe in him, I don't think however that we should pray instead
of looking for the cause and applying a solution, Atheists think they are smart because they focus on Science and technology instead
of putting their faith in a God, I don't think God will solve our problems, i think he gave us the

That was the dilemma after praying and seeking the Lord he shows me a couple
of things one is God calls the shots not satan satans demons bow to Gods authority and must get his permission so they beg Jesus to send the demons into the pigs.Jesus allows it so we can
see satans purpose is always to destroy life.God is still the same yesterday today and forever he is the giver
of life.We do know that the pigs were owned by the gentile nations and may well have been offered or about to be offered to there gods which would
mean they would belong to satan.Like the example Jesus said about taxes should he pay them and he said give to caesar what is caesars.Or the other option was that it showed Gods mercy to the man that had been healed by delivering him
of the demons and he was also protecting the people in the area from the influence
of the demons. So God is still the same he is unchangeable and definitely not bipolar.I would say if anyone was bipolar in this situation it is David and he like us struggled with the same choice to walk according to the flesh or walk according to the spirit
of God.brentnz

Rick i struggled for over 20 years as a christian in the end i said whats the point
of struggling i feel powerless and useless so i gave in to sin that did nt work either but i was so sick
of struggling and
seeing the same results i became more miserable and even more powerless in my struggle with sin.I decided one day no more enough was enough i needed to get my life back in order. That was years ago and it was a process over 5 years that God dealt with all those
things in my life that needed fixing most days i just said to him Lord i cant do this i just do nt have the strength and he said thats okay you cant do it anyway just trust me.So now now i l know what it
means to be an overcomer in Christ sin does not have the victory over me anymore because Jesus is my strength in my weakness.I know i cant live a christian life in my strength but i certainly can with Christ in me he is my strength and in him i am an overcomer. If this is speaking to others just want to let you know that you to can be an overcomer you do nt have to struggle or battle with your walk or feel miserable because you give in to sin there is a better way.Just admit that you cant do it and ask for his help for the holy spirit is in you and he is the one who helps us in our weakness.regards brentnz

OY and OX, the Upward and the Forward: two religious forces, let me repeat, now met together in the heart

seen, weaken and wither away in separation... Therefore, as it remains for me to show, forces which await one
thing alone — not that we should choose between them, but that we should find the
means of combining them.

Jeremy i am surprised you never countered my argument Up till now the above view has been my understanding however
things change when the holy spirit speaks. He amazes me because its always new never old and it reveals why we often misunderstand scripture in the case
of the woman caught in adultery. We
see how she was condemned to die and by the grace
of God Jesus came to her rescue that seems familar to all
of us then when they were alone he said to her Go and sin no more. This is the point we misunderstand prior to there meeting it was all about her death when she encountered Jesus something incredible happened he turned a death situation into life situation so from our background as sinners we still in our thinking and understanding dwell in the darkness our minds are closed to the truth. In effect what Jesus was saying to her and us is chose life and do nt look back that is what he
meant and that is the walk we need to live for him. That to me was a revelation it was always there but hidden.Does it change that we need discipline in the church that we need rules and guidelines for our actions no we still need those
things. But does it change how we view non believers and even ourselves definitely its not about sin but its all about choosing life and living. He also revealed some other interesting
things on salvation so i might mention those on the once saved always saved discussion.Jeremy just want to say i really appreciate your website because i have not really discussed issues like this and it really is making me press in to the Lord for answers to some
of those really difficult questions.regards brentnz
Sharing the gospel
means at least two
things: the essence
of the gospel must be presented in such a way that it may be
seen and heard for what it truly is; it must also be presented in such a way that it may be either accepted or rejected.
Jeremy have been asking the holy spirit for his help with this and in regards to the lame man that Jesus healed I do nt believe that sin was the issue for him just like the blind man was it his parents or did he sin the answer was neither but so that God would be glorified. What was the sin that may have been worse for him.The two situations are related
of the woman caught in adultery the key words being go and sin no more only two references in the bible and will explain later the lame man we
see at first his dependency on everyone else for his needs he cant do it he is in the best position to receive Gods grace but what does he do with it.Does he follow Jesus no we are told he goes to the temple and Jesus finds him now that he has his strength to do
things on his own what his response to follow the way
of the pharisees that is what is worse than his condition before so he is warned by go and sin no more.We get confused because we
see the word sin but the giver
of is speaking to him to go another way
means death.Getting back to the two situations
of the woman caught in adultery and the lame man here we
see a picture
of our hearts on the one our love for sin and on the other the desire to work out our salvation on our terms they are the two areas we have to submit to God.My experience was the self righteousness was the harder to deal with because it is linked in to our feelings
of self worth and self confidence so we have to be broken so we are humble enough to realise that without God we can do nothing our flesh hates that so it is a struggle at first to change our way
of thinking.brentnz

For Zen Buddhism, the experience

On the contrary, I should claim, what I have been saying is metaphysical in the second sense
of the word which I proposed in an earlier chapter; it is the making
of wide generalizations on the basis
of experience, with a reference back to verify or «check» the generalizations, a reference which includes not only the specific experience from which it started but also other experiences, both human and more general, by which its validity may be tested — and the result is not some grand scheme which claims to encompass everything in its sweep, but a vision
of reality which to the one who
sees in this way appears a satisfactory, but by no
means complete, picture
of how
things actually and concretely go in the world.
I was tempted at first to give maybe a 10 point list
of advice for parents going through deconstruction in front
of their kids...
things like let them
see the books you read and answer their curiosities about them; teach your kids how to think, not how to believe; tell them everything you're going through and let them deal with what it
means for them; ask them what they believe and listen objectively and engage in conversation about it; openly share your struggles with what you're going through with the church and let them process it themselves, and so on.
The only one who can not is Lucifer because he do not want to, God heart is not made
of iron, if there are evil people alive in this world it is only because God want them to repent to, there are most evil people who as a children or teenager was sweet but because
of another being became evil, Only God know what it did make them change or their pain but only one
things is sure as God he did have the first seat to
see all their pain and live, and to my point
of view as a Father it is by no
means lesser than the pain he did feel for them or them victimes, like a electric chair.
