The small size of the sardine
means that it has
less opportunity to pick up and accumulate
mercury.
This
means that they contain much
less mercury and other heavy metals than larger fish such as tuna.
Replacing those by LEDs
means that the displays will use
less energy, will probably have a longer useful life (LEDs last a very long time), will be
mercury - free and more recyclable.
Even with the logic in driving efficiency, doesn't it still make sense to have an «all of the above» plan in shifting to
less - polluting energy options, given how a shift from coal to natural gas — while not perfect by any
