Plymouth Arts Centre 1 December 2017 — 20 January 2018 This latest exhibition explored my longstanding interest in folding and falling and its more recent
means of expression through ceramics and print.
These recurrent motifs find a delicate new
means of expression through the exclusive use of red cotton on unprimed canvas.

Not exact matches
The capacity to speak, symbolized by the physical tongue, is the primary way
through which we human beings express ourselves, and nothing reveals more deeply the biblical insight into the sinfulness and brokenness
of human life than our verbal
means of self -
expression.

The very thought
of taking something so personal and incredible as worship, and believing that only
through some man made and rigid form
of expression does it find any
meaning totally misses the point.
Thus, to understand the
meaning of love to an ancient Greek expressed in English it is necessary to look at how the people
of the day conceived love - a conception that we can see most definitively expressed in the culture itself
through the
expressions of friendship, eroticism, charity, and brotherhood.
