Although the model describes the development of antisocial behavior in terms of clinical diagnoses (e.g., CD and APD), in this study, we tested how well the model would describe the development of antisocial behaviors
measured as continuous variables in the general population.
We also modelled the developmental
measures as continuous variables (standardised to facilitate comparisons) and results were again consistent with those obtained using the dichotomised outcomes (tables available on request).
Sibling's age was
measured as a continuous variable.

For
continuous variables, distributions should be described using graphical displays such
as scatterplots, boxplots, or histograms or by reporting
measures of central tendency (e.g., mean or median) and dispersion (e.g., SD, interquartile range).
The second comment is that
as far
as I know the entropy maximization requires a well defined
measure, which is not available for a
continuous variable without some extra information.
Characteristics of the sample are presented
as means and SDs or frequencies and percentages, and distributions were compared between males and females using the Student's t - test for
continuous measures and the χ2 test for categorical
variables.
For the treatment period, the primary analysis for
continuous measures was an analysis of variance using the slope of change in the primary
variables as the outcome
measures and center, treatment, negative affect subtype, and all interactions
as the independent
measures.
As dependent
variable, we used the physical aggression scale of the Aggression Questionnaire [22], a
continuous measure that assesses individual propensity toward aggression and that can be administered to individuals in the normative range of aggressive behavior.
