To complete its work, the Task Force, with the support
of staff from the Department
of Education, reviewed the latest research on educator evaluations, examined systems in use both in - state and
across the nation, and studied a range
of issues related to the development
of high - quality evaluation systems, such as observation protocols,
growth measures, and special education considerations.
Research efforts are aimed, for example, at ensuring bias - free results, validity
of technology - enhanced items, stability
