Commercial food stylists often use undercooked or semi-raw
meat in food photography because it looks
better than fully -
cooked food.
Honestly... it's still a bit WEIRD, but I am enjoying re-learning how to
cook things like
meat;) I'm just hoping I start seeing some positive health results and start feeling
better.
The sweetness goes really
well with spicy rubs for
meat so consider this the next time you're
cooking a spicy dish and are in need of a side.
Whether you prefer tomato based sauce, molasses based sauce or just plain
meat, this vinegar based slow
cooked pulled pork is
good in its own right and as low maintenance as a dish can be.
But it also serves as a slow
cooker, rice
cooker, steamer, yogurt maker, food warmer, and it has a sauté function as
well (meaning you can brown
meat before
cooking, and reduce sauces and gravies afterward.)
Cover with wet, scrunched baking paper and then tin foil, place in preheated oven and
cook for 2 1/2 - 3 hours, the longer the
better; ideally, you should be able to eat the
meat with a spoon.
Put in oven for approx. 20 minutes until
well cooked, or on grill until vegetables are ready and
meat is heated.
By the time you sautee onions or sear the
meat, you might as
well just
cook the whole thing!
I don't consider myself a very
good «manly
meat»
cooker.
My mom (not vegan but eats everything I
cook for the family) declared it my
best dinner yet and my dad (
meat lover) was literally shocked that the breaded tofu was actually tofu.
Chuck is the ideal cut of
meat for stew — the tough,
well marbled
meat turns flavorful and fall - apart tender after several hours of
cooking.
Bone - in chicken breasts may be used as
well, but since white
meat cooks faster than dark, check for doneness sooner.

well as in a corn tortilla — we're not completely bonkers).
Between three boys, school and soccer season in full swing, I can hardly find time to
cook dinner and sometimes we go for take outs or processed
meats which I know not
good for any of us.
Slow
cooker chili is the
best and my boys love to add
meat to theirs.
While your cauli and
meat are
cooking, add the mayo, water, sunflower seed butter, coconut aminos, fish sauce and cumin to a large measuring cup and whisk until
well combined.
However I had some stew
meat to use up so I decided to pull out the
good old reliable slow
cooker perhaps one last time until the Fall and make a nice hearty beer infused Beef Carbonnade, Crockpot.
To bake in a slow
cooker, you'll need a
good meat thermometer.
