If using store - bought frozen
meatballs,
which are generally cooked through, simply prepare the dish as per the
recipe instructions.
My kid is obsessed with Swedish
meatballs, and as I find the
recipe I normally use okay but rather bland, I decided to use this one
which sounded tastier... The mix was * very * goopy and soft, presumably because of the milk - soaked bread, and I could hardly shape it into balls.

which is very popular, and there is a hole range of avgolemono
recipes, soups and casserole dishes.Avgolemono is a sauce,
which is done at the end and finishes the
recipe with eggs (avgo in greek) and lemons.For example, we have «lamp with lettuce avgolemono,
meatballs avgolemono soup, zuccnini stuffed with mince avgolemono, an easter soup with liver chopped and fresh onions, very traditional, we also have dolmades, this is turkish dish, it is like little parcels made by cabbage leaves that you steam a little and then are filled with mince, rice and herbs, and avgolemono.And many others.
Recipe makes enough for about 40
meatballs which depending on whether you have it as a starter or main can serve anything between 5 to 10 people.
There is a good amount of bread and eggs involved in this
recipe so they are of the soft, fluffy variety,
which is what I prefer in a
meatball.
I've had some luck with chickpea flour in veggie burger /
meatball recipes,
which are generally pretty similar in consistency to this.
So far, the ways I know of cooking
meatballs are: Italian style (with soffrito, tomato purée, beef stock, red wine, garlic, oregano and Parmesan, then served with pasta, or courgetti if I'm feeling virtuous), Swedish style (in gravy with Philadelphia Light mixed into it to make it creamy, then served with mashed potatoes and peas) or something I found on an American
recipe site once
which sounds vaguely Tex - Mex, although I gather from the measurements in your
recipe that you're from the other side of the pond, so you'll probably raise an eyebrow at that (with black beans, pinto beans, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, chilli flakes and cheddar, then served with sweet potato wedges).

recipe with chopped, processed and grated onions and to me the best way of using them is processed — chopped with a knife the onion pieces are too large (
which makes rolling the
meatballs more difficult) and grated the onion becomes too wet Makes about 22
