While these features are available across the board in RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, there are four different
mech types that you can use in the game, but the game makes the weird decision to require you to unlock them as you play more of the game beyond the first mech.

Going into Front Mission Evolved I wasn't sure what to expect.I normally am not the biggest fan of
mech games, however, Square Enix and Double Helix Games have done a great job with this title.Long time fans of the series, or of this genre in general, might not like some of the changes that were made in the latest title, however, Square Enix has made it a lot more accessible.The game is much more like a third person action game as opposed to the tactical
type of game play that the series is generally known for.There were definitely times when it felt a little like Lost Planet with the difference being this game actually worked pretty well and was fun.
The sound effects though win a few points back as practically everything has its own unique sound effect, from the different weapon
types, to the upgraded weapon
types, grenades, support weapons, droids,
mechs, explosions.

The key to play is the effective use of the energy sword, which is capable of stopping yellow and purple enemy fire from reaching your
mech, though it's use will reduce your combo meter.The only
type of weapons - fire that you truly need to worry about is coloured red, and frankly that's a concern a lot of the time while you're trying to pilot your craft.

Anyway after leaving the train and finding the way to go, thanks to some soldiers standing just outside the train, I find myself having to make a choice on what
type of
mech suit I want to use.

I particularly like the balance of the game, you don't feel like you are out - matched by any one
