of US public libraries offer
eBooks, collection size and circulation have increased: 45 % increase in
median number of e-books between 2012 (5,080) and 2013 (7,380) 145 % circulation increase from 2011 to 2012 (with anticipated 2013 increase
of +38.9 %) These
numbers reflect all points
of access, including those directly licensed or purchased by an individual library and those available through a consortium.
