To effectively
meet the

patients, we
require all Medical Assistant Floaters to possess, in addition to a high school diploma and a current CPR card, one or more
of the following qualifications:
Requires working extended or irregular hours (including overtime) and at other office sites, as the medical group determines necessary or desirable to
meet its business
needs and / or the
needs of its
patients.
• Stamina and strength to lift and move
patients between beds, wheelchairs, and automobiles as well as to remain standing and walking much
of the day • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills to anticipate, understand, and
meet the
needs of the
patient • Strong attention to detail and time management skills to ensure proper medication is taken on the right schedule and that
patients attend all appointments on time • Knowledgeable in medical procedures and the care
required for various types
of patients, and keep updated on new technologies in the industry • Observational skills for noticing new or changing symptoms and making notes about them for the home nurses or doctor appointments
Required Skills and Knowledge: Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods; work cooperatively with health - system and pharmacy staff; handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule; set priorities and solve problems; respond quickly to emergency requests; communicate effectively (orally and in writing), and assist in
meeting the pharmaceutical care

patient populations served by the organization.
