but, im ok with this vardy transfer... it shows us many things: 1) wenger is changing, something some of us have been demanding for a long time; 2) it shows that wenger is taking risks: think about it, he is buying a men for a not cheap price, knowing he could not getting anything after, with a future sell i mean... this is an act that shows wengers intentions to win something, the buy is not motivated by any financial or economic reason but only for a «get the f epl once again» reason... this is an act that shows us hungry, even if we fail, we could said we try... first ever, we really try; 3) finally but very important... vardy is the kind of player we need... he is a warrior, a fighter... he has character... look at how he celebrate his goals... full of energy... he, like alexis, can motivate the team when the things are not going in our way (something wenger cant do because of his age and because he has never been an active coach on the pitch)... the vardy transfer, if it finish well, is a demostration of a change, and a good one... lets take care of winning things and do nt look the economic side for once... vardy is a bit old, but we can give a chance to welbeck after maybe, or akpom... u are not thinking about the future when we talk about ibra... guys: u complain when wenger do nt spend or because he is always looking for the bargain when u are the guys who has to pay the very expensive tickets... u complain when wenger buy the always for the future guy... like morata... stop to complain for everything and be consequent with yourself... i would love auba, but it is not going to happen... lukaku is awesome but the asking price is stupid... lets try with vardy, give us the throphy..

Pathetic!
we again need about three world class players and in my opinion that includes a genuine Iron man DM with intelligence as well as muscle, a genuine world class 30 goal a season striker, the likes of which will turn a game around when its looking bad, and with the fall of Santi Cazorla looking ever more imminant we also now need a genuine creative midfielder (why did nt Wenger get Cesc when he was an option?)

I am getting convinced each day that we will not add another DM this summer, I feel Wenger wants to put trust in Le Coq, the Captain and Flamini (Have you noticed how close Flamini looks with Ozil in most of the pictures, I feel they are good buddies and he has helped Ozil feel more at home at the club away from his German buddies), I hope Sanchez finds a bestie at the club too soon (man management is as important in a sports team as is for any organization).
OF course you can't blame him for everything, but everything football related yes he runs that side of the club without interference from anyone, here is a man who blames everything and everyone other than ever looking at himself when the team loses a game, for how many years has the club been crying out for a world - class dm, he refused to buy player's to compliment ozil and Sanchez, yes 100 percent, a better manager would get more from the same players..
i am not too bothered by the manner we won today the most important thing is the 3 pts remember burnley beat liverpool not so long ago, also for the people who thought the title was already lost after just a few games (which by the way was stupid to think) well not only man city got beaten but their team looked jaded / tired and even though they have a very good squad they missed de bruyne terribly, it is not the same team without him they couldn, t create any chances which is good news, it can, t be good for a team to depend so much on one player (we should know a thing or two about this) in case he gets injured hopefully we have moved on from this and can deal with injuries to our players in case it happens to us, we had our fair share and it is time for us and to watch other teams getting depleted, COYG.
4 years ago I got behind the man and supported him, looked for the positives like his 2nd season being better than his 1st and previously he has always done better in the team on the 2nd year... I wanted him to be the CF we needed and a lot of fans supported him and cheered for him, gave him his song and he returned the favor by being a lazy git who only steps up around the transfer periods to make his manager think again about needing a Cf.

The Arsenal played well we had over 70 % position of the ball with something like 27 attacks were 8 were on target burnly had a game plan and that game plan was about hurting our players ankles and they got away scot free with it yet xaka gets red?????? Yes they were diddling about when that happened but compare it to the challenge on ozil and he was on goal yes koscienly came back from an offside position but the high boot on the head was dangerous I thought Arsenal played well and controlled the game well even when we were put under pressure in our own half when you look at the penalty awarded to them you will see a dive as coquelin barely touched him how many time did they push kosscielny of the ball???? hope he is ok as he was looking like he had a thigh problem I like the back four of todays as Gabriel did ok specially when we went down to ten men >> > I salute our Arsenal for wining the game on the 97 minit with only 10 men on the field What an iced cold penalty scored by Alexis
Tottenham Hotspurs are good enough to get to top 5, maybe and Man United isn't looking like they're going to clinch the title any time soon, either.
I agree we need better negotiations and all that but it's a simple solution for arsenal SPEND MORE MONEY GETS U BETTER PLAYERS just look at Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea theyve all got different negotiating teams but get the same out come which is signing the players they need in a short space of time, some times 2 players from the samebetter negotiations and all that but it's a simple solution for arsenal SPEND MORE MONEY GETS U BETTER PLAYERS just look at Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea theyve all got different negotiating teams but get the same out come which is signing the players they need in a short space of time, some times 2 players from the sameBETTER PLAYERS just look at Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea theyve all got different negotiating teams but get the same out come which is signing the players they need in a short space of time, some times 2 players from the same club!
Say what you like admin.Even Diaby upon doing nothing for several seasons was able to secure a move to Marseille which to me is a top team. Was it not last season that before he went to Bournemouth teams like Juventus and AS Roma were interested in him?He just needs a league which is not physical for the mean time.I mean any time he gets a run of games he begins to hit top forn and just when things are looking up things go down again. This injury thing is a menace in our club.Look at the number of games Gnabry has played. But I will urge him to leave Arsenal because all he needs to do is to remain injury free. It's not rocket science. If Wilshere remains injury free for just one season he'll be great. It's just like the Van Persie case.A lot of people were frustrated with him and cllled him man of glass but I knew he just needed to be injury free for one season. To me he's a better player than Ramsey though Ramsey is on form.He also has the ability to surpass Cazorla and be Arsenal's number one. He's also Arsenall thrugh and through.Arsenal has to solve his injury problems because he's shown that when he gets a run of games he can do it.
It is a bliss that Moyes didn't do well at UTD because I'm an Arsenal supporter and I had a good lol at a rival making a mistake... Well, no longer rival but could be again soon if we can get a top manager in and not some yes man who looks good on paper which is what Moyes well at UTD because I'm an Arsenal supporter and I had a good lol at a rival making a mistake... This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
this window has just finished i am already thinking about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira on a really low offer as he is free agent almost would help boost numbers in midfield in the new year as we will no doubt need to filling the numbers about then also i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong this morning for giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out in the cold light of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew transfer on wenger behalf actually if wenger can turn the clock back and work his magic on welbeck and get him scoring goals and improve his game then we could have a great underrated signing on our hands its wengers absolute trust in him that might be what makes him a great player as this is something that he never had at old mordor if anybody can make him a world beater wenger can he loves this little pet projects improving players against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class player upfornt he just needs to work very hard on his finishing i think once he gets a few goals under his belt he will settle in fine and he is a team player you could put him on the left against man city to shore up that side and he will put in a great shift without a complaint that could be his biggest asset to us or on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left against city to protect the left back against navas and i bet you if he does a great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be one of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but if wenger does win the league with this lot it will be his greatest win yet and what might play in to our hands is the unpredictable nature of the league in the last few seasons if we get on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but teams will work out how to stop them as the season goes on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this season after all
Guys this has been on the cards for at least the last two years, if you look at my comments last year I said Lacca wasn't WC, I am still holding judgement as I think he needs to play with two wide men like Mane and Salah to get the best out of him.
The only reason he was made to look good at Liverpool was the players he inherited.Suarez and Gerard carried that team and he still got it wrong. No Way is he the right man for us.
Have a look at Bayern Munich, PSG, Man City, Chelsea, Barcelona...... Even Barcelona got 2 players (better than US), while they are still on ban.
Welbeck needs to be give a decent run in the team as a striker before fans can start judging remember he played out on the left for a majority of games for man u and got very little chance to play as a striker hence thats why his goal scoring record looks nothing special but that can change with us he has good pace technically very good and i personally think he will do a good job just give him a chance!
Look at Bayern, PSG, Man city, Chelsea, Barcelona (They got 2 players despite on ban, better than us)
Arsenal still have more more games to play before we reach the halfway stage of the EPL season, so there is a lot of water to go under the bridge and a lot of footballing twists and turns to come before someone gets to lift the big trophy in May, but our attempt to be that club is looking a lot better after the reigning champions Leicester City rose from their slumber to inflict a painful defeat on Man City yesterday.
In general Man Utds best chances came from wide crosses into the box, so looking forward we need to consider how to close those gaps out wide (and get Koscielny to trust Coq more and cover his own space instead of watching Coq's manMan Utds best chances came from wide crosses into the box, so looking forward we need to consider how to close those gaps out wide (and get Koscielny to trust Coq more and cover his own space instead of watching Coq's manman!).
Statement is baffling and is in fact the very thing that guys like cap and others are fighting against the truth is Colin didn't orignaly kneel during the anthem he sat on his bench he was then approached by vets who asked why he was sitting and asked him to do something else because sitting was disprectful it was those army vets who told cap to kneel because it shows your fighting against something and not just sitting to sit they told him it would be a better look and it's funny how people turn around and say he is disrespecting the very people who told him what to do and how to do it to get his message across this is the ignorance of America and everything cap fights against you judge a man by the color of his skin and his upbringing and not the content of his character you don't know anything about cap yet you pull this entire story out your ass go sit down clown

Are you really naive enough to believe that Wenger would bring anyone into this current locker room that is going to be given a strong voice... have you not been watching, listening or reading about our club for years... Lehman is a blind Wenger follower, which is the only reason he was even considered... just for a second think of all the strong personalities that have played for this club that have never been seriously considered even though they have expressed legitimate interest in participating in the coaching process... even worse, think of all the former greats who aren't even allowed on the same pitch as Wenger because they have offered their advice and / or criticism to the infallible one... I dare you to find a manager that has distanced himself from his former players as much as this man... it's the very reason why only one player I can think of has ever returned to play for Wenger and that was Flamini, which was hilarious considering we were desperately looking for a top quality defensive midfielder but Wenger could somehow find no one better than Flamini in the whole wide world... let's face it this club was simply trying to appease it's disgruntled fans by declaring that Wenger would no longer be given Ca rte Blanche when it came to the backroom staff so they probably asked him to give them a list of those who he would allow in the locker room... on that list he wrote Lehman, Pires and Bergkamp, likely because the first two are the only former players who haven't publicly questioned his horrible decision - making and the last one because he won't get in an airplane
Man u amaze me u have accepted Mediocrity also Pls wake up the man owns major shares n I personally think he loves d money he's getting n so does Wenger... take a good look at the club n be happy cos next season you will be fighting for 10th position under WengerMan u amaze me u have accepted Mediocrity also Pls wake up the man owns major shares n I personally think he loves d money he's getting n so does Wenger... take a good look at the club n be happy cos next season you will be fighting for 10th position under Wengerman owns major shares n I personally think he loves d money he's getting n so does Wenger... take a good look at the club n be happy cos next season you will be fighting for 10th position under Wenger...
Do you honestly look at the likes of Man City and Chelsea and think oh good for them, they can win the league but who cares we got fourth?
