on when you wipe (if you leave it in while you potty).

This is what was going
on with me from the
menstrual cup.
No need to change anything if you've found something that works well for you, but a lot of women who use
menstrual cups wear period underwear as backup
on heavier flow days.
A lot of women I know use an organic cotton tampon or
menstrual cup in addition to the undies as backup, especially when they are first starting out or
on heavier days.
Menstrual cups,
on the other hand, must be emptied and rinsed because they are reusable and typically have to be boiled every month to disinfect.
While I anxiously waited for my period (to test out my new Blossom
cup, of course), I read up

menstrual cups and other feminine hygiene products such as tampons and pads.
This is a reusable
menstrual cup that is eco-friendly, sanitary, won't dry out your vag AND have measurements
on the side.
Menstrual cups,
on the other hand, are environmentally friendly and virtually waste - free.
But the most important step in choosing a
menstrual cup is to check that it is registered with and regulated by the FDA; there are tons of
cups on the market that are made from unregulated materials that are often not intended to be used in the body, which is a scary thought.
