Finally - a great film in the tradition of the lost art of superb writing (not to
mention wonderful acting).

mentioned this in my previous post, but it bears repeating: And Baby Makes More: Known Donors, Queer Parents, and Our Unexpected Families, edited by Susan Goldberg and Chloë Brushwood Rose, is a
wonderful collection of essays that explore the perspectives of those who have used a known donor, those who have themselves donated sperm or eggs or been a surrogate, and the children created by these
acts.
While her reliance upon a bevy of catchy pop songs, not to
mention Ludwig Göransson's (Central Intelligence) strong if over-utilized score, can sometimes inadvertently stifle the story's inherent dramatic rhythms, overall the director does a nice job, a mid-movie
act of rebellion on Maddie's part introduced with a pleasantly relaxed gentility that's
wonderful.
Exceptional
acting, a spot on setting,
wonderful photography, and superb music are only slightly offset by the previously
mentioned obnoxious and too obvious shots taken at big banks and oil companies.
