of faith and thus the hope and love necessary for
eternal life also to those whom the actual
message of the gospel has not reached.
In the end, Paul's
message in the first half

of the Reformation and the center
of the Gospel
message in the Bible is that
eternal life is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.
In other words, though God may order the events which allows a person to hear the
message of the Gospel, and while God gives
eternal life and confers the status
of sonship to those who do believe, God does not force anyone to believe or restrict others from doing so.

Sure,
life after death and
eternal happiness with God in heaven is part
of the gospel
message, but it is not the only part — or even the main part.

When you present the Gospel
message of how to receive
eternal life, there is one thing and one thing only that must be included.
How sad the
message of Scripture necessary for
eternal life called «the gospel» has been abandoned by GES advocates and replaced with «the saving proposition».

of these show, beyond any doubt, that there IS a technical usage
of the term «THE GOSPEL» that refers to the specific «
message of the cross» that MUST be preached and believed by the unsaved in order to receive
eternal life, justification, salvation, regeneration, forgiveness, or whatever you want to call it.
Frequently, whenever someone hears the
message of God freely giving
eternal life to anyone who believes in Jesus for it, their immediate reaction is «What?

of love
messages and promises
of eternal life... they'll eat it up; and then he just sits back and watches y» all fight over it.
