It won't set hearts fluttering but it looks much cooler in
the metal than in pictures and retains the European personality of its forebears without looking like it escaped from behind the iron curtain.
And, due to its tidy, athletic proportions, we think it has more presence in
the metal than in pictures.
Not exact matches
Its design has had many critics, and we've been a bit unsure of the car, but it works much better
in metal than pictures seem to justify, although the inevitable happens at the back of the car, with a larger rear to accommodate the trick roof.
However, we must state here that the Maruti S - Cross facelift does look a lot better
in the flesh (or
in this case,
metal)
than it does
in these
pictures or even a video.
Wood (even a
picture of wood), piano black, faux carbon fiber are alternatives, and almost anything would be better
in the CTS
than «plastic
metal».
