Across Skype, Discord, Xbox Live, and beyond, you won't have the slightest issue hearing your team mates with this headset, and there are in - line volume controls and

It's still great fun but I would prefer more having them, it's a world of difference between psn and live when it comes to
mics, you get ignorant little sh*t s but you can
mute them.
I enjoy it but all my friends are on the hate train, so it would be nice if
mics where open i feel like bungie has
muted us like we are bad kids or something......
also had a few obnoxious teammaste on the
mic so might be better off
muting all if you are getting feedback or just some guy cussing every few words.
We suggest using the
mic button at the bottom of the window to
mute yourself when not talking to reduce the amount of background noise on the recorded podcast.
(apologies for the mouse clicking early in the episode I had the wrong
mic selected and Skype was not
muting when I thought it was - Kevin).
A nice touch is how the
mic is automatically
muted or activated if pushed upwards or downwards far enough, a handy feature if someone comes in the room and you don't want to flounder around for the
mute button.
Speaking of the
mic, it utilizes Astro's familiar auto -
muting functionality, where angling the microphone upwards will automatically
mute the
mic.

mute button which includes an on / off LED built into the button.
Putting the microphone up will auto -
mute the
mic, and the flexible
mic boom seems durable.
The devs also envision it being easy to
mute yourself, your entire squad or open
mics back up with a single tap.
