I wanted to use up the almond pulp left over from making
milk so I decided to add a cupful of finely chopped
dates, some grated coconut, a dash of maple syrup, vanilla, & about a tablespoon of cacao; I used the blender so added a bit of wáter & a Little of the almond
milk too......... made a fabulous mousse - like
mixture!
I blended pitted
dates with the juice to add some natural sweetness and creaminess to the coconut
milk mixture.
Add the
milk and heat the
date paste and
milk mixture until it reaches lukewarm temperature.
It's couscous with chopped
dates, roasted almonds and other goodies and then instead of broth, you douse it with a warm
milk and honey
mixture... Make sure to use plenty of cinnamon!
I did add about a teaspoon of vanilla to the
milk /
date mixture.
Slowly add the Luz
Date Almond
Milk, starting with a third of a cup and adding more if required to thin out the
mixture.
240g white spelt flour (or a
mixture of white and wholemeal) 130g
dates chopped 190 ml coconut
milk or almond
milk or other diary free
milk.
Add the
dates and nut
milk; pulse until the
mixture forms a smooth (but slightly crumbly) dough.
In a food processor, combine soaked
dates with roasted hazelnuts, cacao powder, maple syrup and plant
milk and blitz until the
mixture just starts coming together.
Add the almond
milk or
date water and pulse until the
mixture forms large crumbs.
On top, hemp
milk, chia seeds,
dates and vanilla make a sweet and creamy
mixture.
Combine the coconut
milk,
dates, and salt in a blender and blend until the
mixture is smooth.
You can also use a regular blender or stick blender to do the
date, coconut oil, and
milk mixture if you have one.
Place the
milk,
dates and vanilla
mixture plus the pineapple and mango in the blender, and blend until smooth.
When the
date and coconut
milk mixture in the freezer has firmed up a little, use a cookie scooper to drop heaping tablespoons of it onto a baking sheet.
This milkshake is basically a
mixture of coconut
milk, ice, banana, avocado, cocoa powder and
dates for sweetness.
The
date mixture, or
date paste, is simply made from
dates, maple syrup and almond
milk, stewed together over low heat for 15 - 20 minutes.
