milk paint also from GF and top coated them with their high performance product and I have been very happy with the way they have held up!

Finishes Milk Paint and the Rustoleum Chalked
paint and the respective top coats and love them both.

And, as you know because you have posted on the sublime beauty of lime, this causes a chalky variation in the texture of the
paint that is beautiful - OR
milk paint has lime but is a little more watery so you can get more of a vintage
finish....

The existing
finish on the table was pretty shiny, so most likely
milk paint would not have adhered well without a lot of sanding prep work.

Finishes Milk Paint as the stencil
paint for the same reason, it's rated indoor / outdoor and once cured, will hold up well.
I've
painted my front door with General
Finishes Milk Paint before, but had never given it a try inside.
It was covered in
milk chocolate - colored
paint when I got it, but I sanded most of it off and
finished it with some kind of sealer.
There did not appear to be any remaining
finish on it, perhaps there never was, so I knew that
milk -
painting would most likely not cause any sort of chipping which I did not wish for this piece.
I
painted the with an antique white by General
Finishes Milk Paint.
I removed the peeling veneer, primed the piece with General
Finishes Stain Blocker and
painted it in General
Finishes Antique White

Sometimes you want a chippy
finish with
milk paint, maybe you don't — use Extrabond.
One of the advantages of
milk paint over latex
paint is its versatility in
finish coats.
