milk paint mixture recipe is one part powder to one part water then stir stir stir (and enjoy the fresh milk paint aroma!).

So instead I got creative and
painted an old set of windows with Miss Mustard Seed's
Milk Paint in a
mixture of linen and marzipan to match the mantel, and I think it looks pretty cute for now.

Water is then determined by volume: 1 part pigment +
milk paint / safepaint
mixture to 1 or 1 + parts water, (some pigments may absorb more water than others so some experimentation is necessary).
Using my trusty method of achieving a non-dragging first coat by dipping the very tips of my natural - bristle brush into water before dipping into the
paint mixture, a beautifully - smooth even coat of
milk -
paint was applied.
