minded midfielder has netted six goals already this season and may well be tempted by a move to the Premier League and one would imagine a move to Fulham would trump a switch to struggling Southampton.

minded midfielder we have?

minded midfielder has been linked with a move to Spurs ever since the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino.

midfielders (in Wenger's
mind 1 of them is probably Bielik and I
'd consider Schneiderlin a must - buy) and a winger (Lacazette, Reus, Sterling or whatever other rumor there is right now)

mind - sets that lean either towards defensive or offensive.
Now we are back on this DM issue again, of a truth we need a strong athletic
midfielder buh i believe it
has to do with the way the team
has been established to play ie the attacking way.Arsenal under wenger is set up to be attack
minded so getting a DM will always be a priority Buh imho, i think even Matic, Matinez, kondogbia just to name a few will still struggle in our team.
I got a lot of thumbs down for my previous comment but In my
mind I
have to ask why we are looking at yet another winger /
Midfielder when what we should
have been doing is seeking out a 25 goal a season striker.
We'll
have to wait a little longer but I don't think people will
mind that too much with Cazola looking scintillating in
midfield.
It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my
mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the
midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he
had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that
has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the
midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive
midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it
would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
Yes there are better
midfielders (box to box) available and i
would not
mind Wenger signing one.
wenger is a legend in his own
mind so other peoples opinions... fans, ex players, journalists, etc...
have no bearing on his greatness or the righteousness of his own decisions... from end of last season it was clear we needed two quality attacking options to put up a serious challenge (getting rid of walcott and campbell or ox and bringing in a serious upgrade over giroud) instead he brought in another
midfield option (
having done the same in the winter window) which only makes sense in his own delusional world rather than the reality of facing up to serious and strengthening competitors and which defines the job at hand....
So, if at all Le Prof will change his
mind to do a signing which I doubt he
would, is a
midfielder he should sign and not a striker during this window in my own view.

has not nailed down a regular position in his career so far, playing both as an attacking
midfielder, either centrally or on either flank, as well as a more defensive -
minded player, it appears that he wants to work on becoming more of a deep - lying ball player in the Alonso or Pirlo mould.
Ive said it before and Ill say it again we
have NO real
Midfield muscle, we are not intimidating on the pitch we
have no real «Master and Commander» we
have no Viera, in days gone by you knew that if you clobbered an Arsenal player you
would get clobbered at some time by one of ours, I mean cmon we are talking about players like Welback who to my
mind is absolute rubbish and was a total waste of 16million, Yesterday was TOTALLY UNEXECTABLE BOTH FROM THE PLAYERS AND THE MANAGER
So, if at all Le Prof will change his
mind to do a sign which I doubt he
would, is a
midfielder he should sign and not a striker during this window in my own view.
Rodgers is keen to bring in a creative
midfielder who can ably link
midfield and attack whilst also offering a fresh goal threat and with this in
mind he
has set his sights on Ajax playmaker Christian Eriksen, who is of course a long term Liverpool target.

mind giving the Ox a run in
midfield.
Defensively
minded midfielder Khedira is available on a free transfer in the summer and though a move back to the Bundesliga is likely, Schalke said to be hot on the heels of the German international, Wenger

midfield mind you that

midfield role and must surely

midfielder which wenger and england coach
has in
mind just will not work for wilshere, his tackling is likely to get him injured or a red card, because he always goes to ground, with feet always out, liable to get injured or punished by a referee

minded options to partner Fabregas in

I really
would mind him becoming a part of our
midfield, he is not the Kante type, buzzing like a busy Bee in the middle of the park, while Carvalho is a quiet but efficient worker, who reads and intercept passes and not too shabby moving the ball forward.
I agree and it's Hummels, Sneiderlin, and Dybala from your list for me... We need some serious presence in our team mainly in the
midfield area because we're either too small or weak
minded and that's unacceptable to the fans... Love Özil and what he can do but if we manage to acquire players of presence this summer that can no doubt cover him while he floats and he still goes missing then I'm afraid it will
have been a very expensive mistake with him... I'm at a point now where I'm completely numb to us losing because I don't expect us to win and that's bad.
In the
midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we
have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them
have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I
would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my
mind up... Ox, who
has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to
have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he
has no intention of staying... Ramsey
has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he
has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox
have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both
have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to
have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far
has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he
has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence
has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure
has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
His tactics and mode of transfers were just simple:
Have a solely defensive
minded back line; a completely dominant
midfield; and a pacey / clinical forward line.
We
would have to get an absolute world class beast CDM, seeing how both özil and James aren't the most defensive
minded midfielders.
However, A. For weakest opponents, I don't
mind Mata in
midfield (10) instead of Scott / Herrera B. For elite teams, I won't
mind Mata as one of the front 3 [so we
have 4
midfielders rather than parking the bus].
lets all thank arsene for finally doing the right thing only time will tell but

guys look i am going to sound ridiculous but arsene is going to sign a defender and not a central defensive
midfielder cause arteta and flamini are both in wenger's good books as these players
have settled for the fourth they hit 30 or maybe the mediocrity
mind has pulled an hamstring on the club, it seems that Wenger played a game of «expected» but it itself is now derail course so therefore pressure mounted up looks like he is heading for the french market under 10 million valuation» JUST MY PREDICTION»
The creative
midfield area is somewhere that seriously needs addressing and the worse thing is it doesn't
have to cost a fortune, i do nt
have a particular player in
mind but a young Spanish
midfielder with the Spanish attributes good ball control dribbling and distribution with abit of tenacity
would be ideal, or alternatively Wilshere.
He was quite impressive in the preseason at CB, I
would not
mind him getting some minutes at the end of games to spell Xhaka / Cazorla as I hear he is mostly in the
midfield in youth games.
it depends on what style of
d / m wenger
has in
mind to he might want big strong dominating type like a carvalho, imbula or one like arteta a holding
midfielder who can pass like lars bender or illramendi not big in size quite mobile but very intelligent on how they position themselves but can still plug the gaps in front of the defense, or a seek and destroyer type like le coq but with no major passing skills but shuttles around the
d / m area and snuffs out all danger most likely example sven bender.
-- If you sign us the right players in January (top class DM, top class CB, I wouldn't
mind another
midfielder too (say what you want but currently our
midfield sucks)-RRB-.
And now another Sky Sports report
has increased my hopes even more, and it shows the Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola talking about their
midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger and that he needs to make up his
mind whether to stay or go.
If Cazorla does
have to miss the game against Middlesborough then Arsenal
have a small problem in central
midfield, with Coquelin and Elneny the only proper central
midfielders he can call on and both of those are more defensively
minded.
Parlour was not too hard on our big centre forward and actually handed him some praise, but he feels that Arsenal do need a step up in quality if we are to challenge for the bog trophy goals of the Premier League and Champions League, and the former Arsenal
midfielder has one player in particular in
mind.
With this in
mind, not only will Elneny
have to step up on his recovery from injury, but if the
midfielder intends on becoming a regular starter for the Gunners, then his game also needs to step up to the next level.
Many Arsenal fans are adamant that the Gunners need a new holding
midfielder and a new centre - forward this summer at the very least, but it seems that Arsene Wenger
has already made his
mind up as to who will be our new striker to challenge Olivier Giroud next season.
I wouldn't
mind if we keep Arteta as an experienced head and training and dressing room presence as Cazorla
would be the only mature figure in
midfield.
