Using
mindful activities will strengthen and support how you communicate and teach while helping kids and caregivers alike develop mind - body
awareness, compassionate life skills, and manage stress.
The finding that none of the respondents reported improvement in
mindful attention and
awareness might be explained by the fact that the MAAS was designed to assess one's general tendency to be
mindful over time, or what might be referred to as «trait» mindfulness (an example item is: «I rush through
activities without being really attentive to them»)(Schmertz et al. 2008).
