THE only place where such catastrophic scenarios exist are in the warped
minds of alarmist hysterics who occupy the climate controlled offices of NASA, NOAA, BoM, National Geographic and the New York Times et al..
I think the «threat» is primarily in
the minds of alarmists and folks who feel afraid of change... which is inexorable but hardly negative if we don't want it to be.

the minds of the alarmists of the day, some of who are today's alarmists.

Naomi Oreskes conceived the idea for the Attorneys General United for Clean Power with a number
of alarmist colleagues in
mind.
It is they who will have to shoulder a multi-trillion dollar burden
of changing from a fossil - fueled civilization that Suzuki and his like -
minded alarmist - scientist flock proposes and demands.
Scott Mandia posed in a Superman uniform to announce his participation in the «Crusher Crew», a group
of like -
minded souls who monitor climate conversations on the internet and attack opponents using prepared extracts from
alarmist dogma.
The battle by
alarmists for hearts and
minds is extending to many fronts, including recruiting family doctors, and in the case
of this post, media weather reporters.
To my
mind, natural variability (including the role
of clouds) is the big uncertainty especially as the
alarmist case seems to be based on such a short period
of warming.
And the open -
minded skeptic must be prepared to question not only the claims
of alarmists, but those
of other skeptics also.
Only in the crazed
mind of a climate
alarmist is a 0.7 º blip over a century and a half something to be scared
of.
However, railing against scientists as «
alarmists» or religious fanatics merely for pointing out the consequences
of their research hardly seems like the attitude
of an open
mind.

of mind of climate
alarmists nowadays: it's one
of mounting frustration that's on the verge
of exploding anger.
